I'm from Rigby, Idaho and an Active member of the Southeast Idaho Skywarn (#JF23) Out Of National Weather Service Pocetello. My interests include photography of storms and various other sorts of Nature. I like to go fishing, camping and hang out with family and friends.
This site is made possible because of my overwhelming interest in weather phenomena. My photography goal is to provide other weather enthusiasts weather and nature photography from Idaho. A Big goal I have is to arrange this website with other fellow Idaho photographers and start a skywarn active member/stormchasing community for Idaho. I update Severe Idaho.Com as often as I can. I do update the Blog daily with Weather Discussions ,Forecasts and News for Severe Idaho.Com.
Am I a Storm Chaser?
In several ways I can be seen as a stormchaser. However most of my photography and video coverage is taken very locally and in most cases from the Luxury of my home. I do on occasion chase storms down to get Exclusive coverage for both my website and also KIDK Newswatch 3. My goal is to make it to the great plains and tornado alley and get alot of weather footage including some hurricane coverage from the Gulf Coast states. For Now I will do my best to provide you with the best lightning photography and storm coverage from Idaho. Be sure to watch Newswatch 3 often during and after storms for my Exclusive footage.
