Fire In Southeast Idaho

Posted on Tuesday 26 August 2008

Have you seen a fire lately or been smelling smoke?  After my daily routine of watering I noticed a fire along the Hills towards the wind farm.  The fire is now glowing brightly at night and looks to be quite big.  I havent heard anything yet about what caused the fire but am sure the NewsCasts will discuss it.  Could most likely be Arson since we have not had any Thunderstorms in a while.  Speaking of that.  It has been extremely dry around Southeast Idaho.  We have not had rain or a thunderstorm in quite some time now.  The Monsoon has been very active but stuck in the Southwest.  I will be uploading new pictures soon of our last Thunderstorm day.  I also have some photos of the Meteor shower which happened August 12th.

The last 2 weeks have been busy with family and fishing and it was a blast.  Things are back to normal now, yet I am planning my usual yearly trip to California and hope to do it soon.  Will be staying out there for around 2 weeks to get my fill of everything.  I cant wait.

Well Fall is coming soon.  The beautiful Foilage will start turning colors and the Hills and Mountains where all the aspens are will be amazing.  I suggest this year that you drive the 20 North up to Henry’s Lake and venture around up there.  My last fishing trip I noticed tons of Aspens out that way and I also noticed tons of Aspens in Ashton on the road towards Mesa Falls, Warm Rivers.  I do plan to take as many photos as I can where ever I end up.  Be sure and stay tuned.

No weather highlights as of now.  Hoping for a thunderstorm threat soon.  Stay Tuned..
