How we Shoot the Storm

We Use a Tripoded JVC GR-D270U Camcorder and we also use a Sony Cybershot DCS-P100 and also a Kodak Easyshare Camera, all which are on a tripod. Our Goal behind quality of the videos is setting up in a wide open area. This ensures less clutter of trees and houses.

What We Aim For

Southeast Idaho does get its fair share of weather. We Average 5 tornadoes a year and get a wide variety of storms. Supercells are not common in Idaho, But do occur when the conditions are right. For this reason alone we Aim to capture any Supercell within driving distance to Show you, The Visitor Just how severe the weather gets here. On average you will see Lightning video and Hail video as both types of weather are pretty common thru the Spring and Summer Season. We will also aim to bring you snowstorm videos and Freezing rain videos as well. We currently have a Tornado Warned storm 3 series video on this page and hope to bring you plenty more of this type of video. Keep checking back to see the latest in Stormchasing and Weather Videos. Thanks for stopping By.
